Writing Chinese characters in the correct order is
essential for the character to look nice and appealing.
The very basic rule, when writing Chinese
characters, is to always write from top to bottom, from left to right.
Just like any
other languages, writing Chinese follow a certain
order and direction. The strokes for each Chinese character are to be
drawn in a certain defined order as well.
These rules are
based on practical experience. The fundamental rules - from top to
bottom and from left to right - are easily understandable, since they
are used in most Western writings too. The other rules may need some
practices to grasp.
